Panorama Courts - July 2020

 

During the Spring of 2020, the world paused social gatherings, including public basketball games. By mid-summer, we saw a big yearning from ballers across the city to get back on the courts and play games with one another. We knew something had to be done to help bring the streetball community back to its prime, and what better way than to provide a pop of color to the gloomy days of Summer 2020. 

 

These pandemic born murals showed us how truly powerful public spaces are, especially when engaged with art for the community to enjoy. Find them in the expansive Northwest Calgary neighborhood of Panorama Hills.
